Lead Forensics pricing in 2026: what it costs and how contracts work
This guide is Scout's summary of Lead Forensics' public pricing page and Master Service Agreement. Scout is not affiliated with Lead Forensics.
Lead Forensics does not publish a price list. Its pricing page says the cost "is based on how much traffic you're generating to your website", and you get a quote after a one-week trial.1 What is public is how the pricing and contract work, which is what this guide covers.
How much does Lead Forensics cost?
There is no public price. Lead Forensics quotes each customer individually, based on website traffic.1 Capterra UK lists it the same way: "Custom pricing based on website traffic volume".4 The only reliable way to know your cost is to ask for a quote.
You will find figures in articles online. Two examples:
- A Leadfeeder article (Leadfeeder is a competitor) says: "Third-party sources report Lead Forensics pricing typically ranges from $500 to $5,000+ per month."5
- A MarketBetter article (also a vendor in this market) gives an entry level of about $6,000 a year, citing third-party data.6
We have not verified either figure. Neither comes from Lead Forensics, both are in US dollars, and both are published by companies that sell competing products. Treat them as rough context only, not as a guide to what you will pay.
How Lead Forensics pricing works
The price is set by your website traffic, with two plans that differ in features rather than volume. Here is what the pricing page says.1
- Traffic-based. More traffic generally means a higher quote.
- Unlimited users. "The number of users is unlimited and doesn't affect your price." So adding colleagues does not add cost.
- Two plans: Essentials and Automate. Automate includes all Essentials features plus a dedicated customer success manager, CRM integration, automated lead routing and ABM account matching.
- Contact data included. Lead Forensics provides decision-maker contact data from approved third-party suppliers. Those contacts "are not the individuals who visited the customer's website".3
If CRM integration matters to you, check which plan your quote is for, because it is listed under Automate.1
The Lead Forensics free trial
The trial lasts one week and is arranged with the sales team. "The Lead Forensics trial is one week long," and you "fill in a form or call" to set it up.1 At the end, "your representative will walk you through your website traffic", and this is the basis for your quote.1
A week is enough to see the kind of companies the tool finds. Your traffic in that week may affect your quote, so it helps to know whether it was a typical week.
Contract terms: renewal, notice and annual increases
Lead Forensics' standard terms are a fixed initial term that renews automatically, 90 days' written notice to end it, and a 10% annual fee increase. All three come from its Master Service Agreement (MSA), version 8.2
- Initial term. The length is set in your Commercial Terms, the document specific to your contract.
- Automatic renewal. "At the end of the Initial Term, the Agreement shall automatically renew for successive periods each of a duration equal to the Initial Term as stated in the Commercial Terms."2
- Notice. "Either party may terminate this Agreement at the end of the Initial Term or the then-current Renewal term by providing the other party with at least 90 days' prior written notice."2
- Annual increase. "At each 12 month anniversary of the billable services starting, there will be an annual 10% fee increase on the prior year's fee's."2
- Traffic growth. The MSA also allows fees to be adjusted at renewal if website traffic grows significantly above the trial-period average.2 Read clause 8.1 for the exact wording.
Your Commercial Terms can differ from the standard MSA, so check what you signed. If you are already a customer, our guide to switching from Lead Forensics explains how to work out your notice date.
Questions to ask on your quote
Asking a few specific questions will make any quote easier to compare. These work for Lead Forensics and for any other vendor.
- What is the initial term, and when is the first renewal date?
- How much notice is needed to cancel, and how must it be given?
- Does the 10% annual increase in the MSA apply, or has it been changed in my Commercial Terms?
- What happens to the price if my traffic grows?
- Is the quote for Essentials or Automate, and which features do I need?
- How many contacts can I access, and is there a limit?
- What data can I export if I leave, and in what format?
- Can the contract be billed monthly?
How Scout's pricing compares
Scout publishes its prices, bills monthly or annually, and has no notice period, so you can see the cost before speaking to anyone. We can't say whether Scout is cheaper than Lead Forensics for you, because Lead Forensics does not publish prices.
Scout's plans are based on the number of identified visits each calendar month. An identified visit is a visit where Scout names the company behind it. Visits we can't identify are free. Prices are the full amount you pay; no VAT is added.7
| Identified visits per month | Monthly price |
|---|---|
| Up to 50 | £349 |
| 50 to 100 | £399 |
| 100 to 250 | £499 |
| 250 to 500 | £749 |
| 500 to 750 | £999 |
| Over 750 | Custom |
Every plan includes unlimited users, Forager credits for finding contacts, Scout credits for email reveals, and a confidence score on every match. Annual billing costs 12 times the monthly price and adds bonus credits. On a monthly plan you can cancel in your billing settings, and your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
Scout is not the lowest-priced tool in this market. Some alternatives have free plans or entry prices under €100 a month. See our Lead Forensics alternatives page for a sourced comparison, or read the UK guide to website visitor identification for how these tools work.
To test Scout on your own traffic, start a 14-day free trial. You don't need a card. Full plan details are on the pricing page.
